What is mentoring?

Mentoring is a ‘relationship based on support, assistance and exchange, in which an experienced person, the mentor, supports another person, the mentee, in developing their skills.’

Mentoring: who is it for?

The University of Toulouse Capitole’s mentoring programme is free and open to all members of the university’s professional community:

  • The mentees are students or young graduates.
  • The mentors are more experienced graduates, professional partners, teachers or staff, whether currently working or retired.
Mentoring: what’s it all about?

The programme allows you to choose from the following topics:

  • Career path / Roles / Sectors
  • Applications / Recruitment interviews / Networking
  • Career guidance / Choosing a course
  • Student support / University life / Tutoring
  • Entrepreneurship / Business start-ups
  • International mobility
